CBC - Health Canada not actually counting influenza deaths, featuring Dr. Tam (2012)

In this short clip from a 2012 episode aired by the CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation), it’s explained that what is called “influenza deaths” are not even counted, as one might assume they would be, and on top of that they include deaths from heart disease, lung disease, pneumonia in their model in order to come up with a scary sounding number of deaths (thousands per year).
