Justin Trudeau said the convoy protesters are a small fringe minority with “unacceptable views”.
The government’s own numbers indicate there were at least 6 million Canadians who abstained from receiving the magic potions. What they had in common were notions of fundamental freedom, bodily autonomy, personal agency. This comment superficially directed to the many thousands of convoy protesters must necessarily also include those 6+ million Canadians. But either way and regardless of one’s personal opinion about it, this is a disgusting, despicable thing for somebody in his position to say.
No mister crime minister, you are the small fringe minority with that very much unacceptable view towards the people you are supposedly there to represent (not rule over).
